Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Another day, another walk I'd never done before. Got out late, brought some mail back as it was getting dark.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
First day mainly on my own. Folks described it as the day from hell due to volume of mail - not half wrong. I was an Hour over my time and that's without full meal relief too. Plenty to do and lots and lots of mail. A few too many large packets that wouldnt fit in any bag. Scanning back in doesn't take long when you're in a rush to drop the van off. Still thoroughly enjoyed it though! No rest this evening as laying half the kitchen floor and self levelling the rest with my dad. Long day!
Roll on tomorrow :D

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
found out on Thursday that i am on a 4 day rota for xmas..... problem is i cant do the start times that the rota needs. The manager knows this because i have to tell him at least twice a week for the last 3 months - no exaggeration
SO...... do i tell him today so he has time to fix it for monday ....OR...... do i turn up at my usual 8.35 start time on Monday and let the managers manage ?

Hard going Thursday. Got out earlier and back earlier but stop start all the way, because of the packets. Really cold all day. Got our supply of gloves
which should help in the coming months. Office absolutely rammed with parcels. Day off today and need the rest.

Awful, awful, awful day. Two hours OT, packets through the roof. Have agreed to do a little bit of OT tomorrow, but that's it, between now and Christmas I'm working my hours...

SO many packets! Did my double prep to find my walk still unfinished so got out late and went an hour over.

An extra plane load today and twice the packets that I had yesterday. I felt there was a lot more continuity today and loading the van myself and having a headlamp on made a huge difference. Slippy paths led to omr jarred back. Thankfully someone took one street from me which was a big help! Finished an hour after my time without any meal breaks. Not sure of cuttin off etc on my first week, final day tomorrow so a days overtime too. Absolutely crazy but good fun. DOM told me I had posted 3 other houses into one yesterday. I blame the D2Ds hiding them and the darkness.
On another note do any of you ever get the feeling you left a bundle on a step? I'll find out tomorrow anyway ;)

Shambolic.
I have never felt so run-down in my entire life.

Really icy paths. Quite unpleasant.
Loads of packets but still not seeing the avalanche of Xmas cards yet. Just a slow trickle.
