Alternate thats what I did - still makes the bundle too big but easier to hold/control.

To reply to myself, I obviously win 6 D2Ds next week as well  Two A4 brochures, two A5 envelopes and two smaller flyers, I put Monday's out (so they aren't forgotten) and there is hardly enough space for anything stupid to go in there - like post!!

Not a bad Saturday for me, though with a manager throwing the post off for me I had the expected dozen or so mis-sorts!

I agree i used to actually look forward to sat with a quite drive into work and then a easy low stress day.

Thats gone now and i walk in to 3 full mech trays and a load of flats which have been already sorted by early staff on overtime. Then we go on the ips and its just a normal workoad but with 2 hours less pay.

Somehow we are being stitched here.

You can bet that the bastards that have f****d-up our Saturdays, were still in their pits, as snug as bugs in a rug, and had better things to do than to wait on their postman delivering the Saturday afternoon shyte.
Like you, I didn't used to mind working Saturday mornings, but now I want to see Saturday deliveries ended altogether, and a MON-FRI working week.

Thats one thing i can see being dropped straight away once we are private. :hmmmm

Other than parcels i really cannot see the public missing a sat delivery but i ve read before that in-direct mailing actually gets more attention when delivered on a sat :d'oh!

Does it fook.
Do you give junkmail more attention on a Saturday, than say, any other day of the week? Course not.

Not as busy as I thought it would be. Packets were ok. Very cold and windy first thing but stayed dry, just.

You can swap with me if I can do callers office, mate. I assume I'll get some kind of duty although I'll be reserve. Serious offer if the gaffers are prepared to do it.
