Massive gaps today,on some roads i had no odds but plenty of evens and on others the reverse.

Very quiet on lettersbut flats and packets were busy. Last wave did not arrive so they will try the 30 minute flexibility with some.

Last wave was in a van caught up in http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-20321724" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Seriously! How do you do it!?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

After cutting off today, I was asked if I am going to complete tomorrow ? ? ? ? ? :crazy:

ps..... if anyone wants this saturdays lottery numbers i have them as well :roll:

I got the Spanish (it might aswell of been spanish for all the sense it made) inquisition about cutting off which took 30 mins to listen to. :Boo hoo!

Once it was done, I went into the office to claim the 30 mins OT :dance , the manager asked what the hell i was doing , I replied with "I could explain but it will cost you another minute".... he wasn't happy.

Well busy this week. Packets everywhere. 5 D2D contracts for me :dance which inevitably means more overtime. When will they learn? :hmmmm

Yep 5 D2Ds here too which are a real pain in the arse and make the job f***ing awful. If I get 5 next week I'm gonna complain to the DOM and send moya an email. This bearing in mind the work we have to do at the moment. And I don't want the overtime and I don't want to cut off cause I'm on a 3 month contract still after almost two years, which I wish to keep. Worst company I ever worked for but lack of jobs in my expertise so having to stick with it at the moment. Thankful for the job but what a piss take.

I've had 6 D2Ds this week - what do I win :Very Happy If we have to do so many of the flipping things why can't there be a size/shape limit so they don't get messed up with the actual post. Sorry, that sounds like common sense so is obviously stupid.

On 30 hours a week and they weren't thrown off for me on Monday, so I threw them all off on Tue and Wed and have managed to get 95% of them delivered already in order to spread the weight onto the lighter day - which Tuesday just about was.

5 here this week, couple of weeks ago there was a pen in one - that was a killer because the bundles were all lop-sided after about 5 houses!
