Posted a letter today into a porch and watched as it sailed through the air and landed straight in a wellington boot.
I am going to try and repeat the feat tomorrow.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Where have all the packets come from?? I'm beginning to wonder if people just spent last week ordering crap online while they where at home, still, most of them have another trip to the DO to pick up all my P739s

After Monster Monday came Twat of a Tuesday. Don't the tossers who sent out the police commissioner voting forms realise a Tuesday is supposed to be a doddle? Needless to say today was too heavy by half.

I think it may have something to do with the school half term hols last week. Ive had loads of Ebay type jiffy bags from wed/thurs onwards. I think kids no longer go out much and just sit at home on mums Ebay account ordering games and stuff.DGP1 wrote:Where have all the packets come from?? se·quence/ˈsēkwəns/
Noun: A particular order in which related events, movements, or things follow each other.
Verb: Arrange in a particular order.
Synonyms: succession - order - series - sequel - run
For the benefit of Edinburgh Mail Centre.
You will notice none of the definitions above say random letters stuffed in a tray with a completely bogus duty number attached.

Been the same for the last few days. Not as heavy as I thought it might be but the packets are coming thick n fast now. I just take each day as it comes, no point in getting worked up like some do. ...

Day off
We cleared out the big wardrobe in the bedroom
Boring
Amazing all the junk we have stuffed in there in just a few years. Bagged it up and off to the tip in the rain, job done. Put some stuff up in loft which is also full of stuff we cant throw out in case it comes in handy (i am the worse one here). Talked to the misses and deceided to get it totally boarded out after xmas with the poss of a couple of skylights. At last a proper place for me to set up my driving sim and free up the spare bedroom
A proper boys pad me thinks

After another long, shyte, week at Royal Mail, what better way to end it than by having the heaviest, shytest, day of the week, on a Saturday.
A curse on all those responsible.

I did my first ever driving duty. Soooo many packets. A few customers even said it was a present for brother/sister/mum/dad/dog/whoever, so clearly, people do start early. Mind you, it was pouring for most of the day, so I escaped most of that by not doing a walk.

Its best to start early to avoid things selling out. Iam about 75% done so far.

My day was light like a normal Tuesday - maybe the last one until next year though.
