Hi another newbie here.
I have recently come off the waiting list after applying for another role. My status has changed from processing offer to processing security checks DS.
I have had an email saying that the job will be mine as long as these checks come back ok.
Does anybody know what checks are actually done?
I have had a ccj in the past and was wondering if this would stop me getting the job? Apart from that no convictions or anything like that.
Any advise or information would be much appreciated

It would depend on what the CCJ was for, most are unpaid bills or parking fines, if so it shouldn't be a problem at all.
