Day off. Went to the gym. Walking back, bumped into a mate from the D.O. He said they hadn't even finished the first of their P & L walks yet - at 12.15pm. We had a laugh about it. Some of the other guys in our office seem to be taking it a bit personally. I like to smile.

Another crazy workload for the lightest day of the week! Heard managers were panicking, making highly dodgy requests to leave all attendence call packets behind so that all letters could be delivered, instead of following standard cut-off procedure (leaving a section of letters and only its packets). It is as if the heavy period following a bank holiday surprises the managers every time.

Just like yesterday. Wasn't the easy Tuesday they keep banging on about. Lapsing didn't get done. In fact quite a few said they couldn't do it. First time in a long time there has been any real solidarity in the office. Long may it continue.

Finish Times
So a very busy day today (Wednesday). Rural (taking out packets parcels blah blah) finishes at 2pm. Town walk bike finishes at 12:45. Both paid the same, wot a load of shite.

Although, if managers where really doing their job then they would have the towns do work until their finish time, IPS, prep or delivery but it has to be everybody.clashcityrocker wrote:Not if you are on the town walk it isn't............monkeymutha wrote: Both paid the same, wot a load of shite.
