Is it in yet? I ask because my old postman (lost this round about 6 years ago) left next doors amazon packet with me today, but I thought that wasn't in till October?

no, nothing since the p&l 'letter' from my 'local' manager whose address is 300 miles away :cuppa

In which case you would have been informed of the fact.
If you aren't a trial office - it hasn't started.
Despite the fact we already have the 739 cards printed we are still awaiting the go ahead from Postcomm.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Could you do us a favour?
When the neighbour comes round to collect it - can you deny you have got it, so we can see what happens to the postman?

If it all gets a bit serious you can "find" it and claim you forgot or one of the kids took it in or something.

Yes.

2. I do not want my mail delivered to a neighbour and I don’t want to receive theirs – what should I do?

If you live in one of the trial areas but would prefer us not to deliver any of your mail to a neighbour or attempt to deliver any of your neighbours’ items to you, you can choose to opt out of the trial. Simply request an opt out sticker and we’ll arrange for it to be sent to you after the 14 November 2011.

Thanks Fish. I remember reading the Trial guidelines when they were made available.

Would the Nationwide roll-out also be opt-out? Quite crazy how RM would opt-in 29 million addresses across the UK :roll:

because its what the people recieving the mail have been asking us to do for ages, and during the trial out of 290,000 items delivered only 2 went missing, thats a pretty good success rate
