Hi again, as I got a better response from you guys than I did with RM on my last problem I thought maybe you could help me with a dilemma I have with CBC clearzones
To begin with I am aware that a 2mm clearzone is required around the CBC barcode at all times
The problem is this, I have a window envelope that contains a client letter which has a CBC barcode printed below the address, both address and CBC need to show through the window
Envelopes tend to be manufactured with a 2mm tolerance on position so for eg a window 50mm up may be 52mm up
The client has typed the address and CBC and not allowed for this tolerance, indeed if the window was exactly in its stated position there would just be the 2mm clearance barely
Now as the window is 2mm high (maximum tolerance) the barcode sits on the bottom edge of the window
My question is would RM pass this as the whole barcode is visible even though there is no clearance and would it really matter as the envelope is white anyway and no graphics or colours are near the CBC at all to interfere with the scanning
The whole of the barcode falls well within the CBC zone
