Hello,
I have recently got something off ebay to be delivered to Sweden. The item was posted on Monday with Airsure and I am really anxious to get the parcel before I leave on holiday today week. The tracking seems to be stuck though at "DESPATCHABLE TOHWDC AIRSURE" for almost 3 days now.

I checked the swedish post website and I cannot find it on their system yet.
Is this normal? Should I start getting worried?

I wouldn't start getting worried yet - but would advise checking Tomorrow morning to see it if its moved.

A couple of possibilities are:
[*]The item might be handled by a company called GLS on the Swedish side
[*]Swedish Post might have stuck their own bar code on the item and use that bar code whilst it's in Sweden.
It's also possible that the item is just stuck in Swedish customs. I don't know if Swedish customs would scan the item as having entered Sweden or if it gets scanned as having entered Sweden once customs release the item to whoever is handling the item in Sweden

I don't think Sweden are GLS (yet).
Airsure usually takes about 5-7 days, but it can take up to 20 more days (working days that is).

You could walk from England to Sweden in 20 days 
On the Royal Mail website they say that they aim to deliver two days after posting in the UK for Western Europe!
Still no movement on the tracking front.

A short update.
I contacted Royal Mail customer service and they were very quick in replying. The interesting bit is that:
"I can advise you that we have recently been experiencing some difficulties with our tracking software at our Worldwide Distribution Centre and your item may have been affected. You can normally assume that the item was despatched without delay."
So there is still some hope after all.
