Parcels and logistics company UK Mail have announced the starting of two new management employees. Sarah Maddox has been appointed the role of HR Director bringing with her 30 years of experience whilst Simon Baxter has been appointed Customer Strategy Director with seven years' experience in a similar role.

Sarah Maddox joins UK Mail from National Express Ltd part of the National Express Group who operate in the UK, Spain and America, started in 1998 as a HR Officer and progressed over a 14 year career with the company to Head of HR. Sarah will be responsible for implementing methods of attracting and retaining people to the business, and over the coming months there will be projects around developing a People Agenda that help the business achieve its goals, such as applicant attraction, linking to an Employer of Choice, staff engagement, and growing morale by reviewing how they recognise and reward people. In addition to this a review will be done of the Training and Development function to ensure it also matches the business needs.

Simon Baxter has joined UK Mail after previously working for Anglian Water as serving 7 years as Head of Developer Services. Working closely with Care Centre Mangers and Client Teams Simon will be responsible for continually improving customer satisfaction by working smarter and maximising the benefits to be gained from new telephony and CRM systems in place.
