Hi, my name is Debs and i was medically retired from Royal Mail in Dec 2006 at the age of 41. I loved working for the company until i was involved in a armed robbery, it made me a bag of nerves and also did an ID at the Police station, which was positive as his face will be imprinted forever, he got 10 years and i never got a thank you or nothing, in the end i was med retired and 6 years on i was wondering if i would be able to draw off my pension due to the curcumstances?

The answer is No. You will have to wait until at least 55 under the current legislation .
