Very light for a Weds as has been the whole week - it's building up to a horrible day somewhere along the line!

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Back today after a week off to find;
Weeks worth of kill-offs on top of right-hand side of frame
Saturday's mailsort in the middle (this is on Wednesday morning)
Some of last weeks' D2Ds on the left (why bother lumping them up there?) The remainder of last weeks D2Ds underneath
Meter bags all over the gaff (How hard is it to work out where to take them?)
Keys gone for a burton
Bag of mail in one of the pouch boxes, Had been there for two days.
Cover manager last week and new lino started on Monday. Some of my 'colleagues' were obviously in shirking heaven

Isn't this week the "model week" upon which our walks are based? DSA being held back to show the model week is right and then hammer us with double next week?BillyPosty wrote:Very light for a Weds as has been the whole week - it's building up to a horrible day somewhere along the line!

I'm off this week and it's been gorgeous.
It's always gorgeous when I'm off. I'm not sure if it's luck, or god telling me something.
The sun shines away from RM. Might be time to hand in my notice.

Not as hot today with pleny of cloud which was a relief
Not too bad mail wise and finished my delivery with 20 mins left for the absorbtion
Went over to the frame to get it only to find that the manager (not our regular) had cleared the last 6 bits and taken them out himself.

Saturday looked to be horrible. A letter for every single address, no exaggeration. The council had sent out voter registration forms. So I ended up with 3.5 mech trays. But, it was a nice day, finished at a nice time and there was no thinking involved. No checking door numbers and the like, I knew I had to stop everywhere.

That shyte shouldn't be put out on a Saturday. Monday is soon enough to be delivering it.JP1 wrote:Saturday looked to be horrible. A letter for every single address, no exaggeration. Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Very wet today and loads of recordeds which slowed me down. I think it was actually a bit heavier than yesterday which is strange for a Tuesday at our place
