The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

To HR Services Date: June 2012 - Draft
£100 Business Performance Lump Sum Payment to employees in grades represented by CWU
1. Following ratification of current talks with the CWU, HR Services are authorised to make a Lump Sum payment to employees in grades represented by CWU within Royal Mail Operations & Modernisation, Logistics, Fleet and Maintenance Services (including MDEC), International, RM Specialist Services, HR Services, Customer Experience, Group Centre Support Functions, Wholesale and ParcelForce Worldwide. Employees in Heritage Trust (PH grades) are excluded.
2. Whilst talks continue with the CWU regarding the design of a new bonus scheme with new scheme arrangements being developed for CWU represented grades across Royal Mail, including Parcelforce Worldwide, the lump sum payment represents an initial lead in bonus payment linked to business profit performance and continuing support for modernisation in 2011/12.
3. The new scheme will not replace any existing productivity schemes or payments arising from those schemes. The new arrangements will include, as a minimum, an ongoing payment of £100 a year for each full time employee, pro-rata for part-time employees, with the potential for additional payments linked to performance.
4. On conclusion of the current talks a directive will be issued setting out the arrangements and deployment of the new bonus scheme.
5. The lump sum payment of £100 (pro-rata for part time employees against contractual hours as at 11th June 2012) is paid in recognition of 2011/12 Royal Mail Group business performance.
6. The lump sums will be processed via income codes PDLS on Infinium and wage type 6626 on PSP. Payment will be shown on the pay advice as “Bonus Payment: Business Performance”. Payments will be non-pensionable and subject to tax and National Insurance.
7. Lump sums are payable to employees in eligible grades week commencing 26th March 2012 and on the payment date 29th June 2012, on permanent and temporary contracts. Casual employees are not included.
8. Lump Sums paid pro-rata to contractual hours as at the 11th June 2012 will be paid on the 29th June. In addition overtime and Scheduled Attendance hours paid at single standard pay rate to part-time employees in the 2011/12 financial year will be paid as an additional lump sum on 20th July 2012 (July salaries for monthly paid), subject to an overall combined cap of £100 per person.
9. Payments are not reduced for part years worked, family friendly leave, Unpaid Special Leave, periods of Sick Half or Sick No Pay prior to the date of payment, nor for periods of short term substitution outside of an eligible grade.
10. Queries should initially be flagged to the Contact Centre (5456 7100 / 0845 6060603), or emailed to HRSC Contact Centre.
