Plus net Beakdancing Postman Advert

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ehnpfd8g ... rofilepage" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

What do people make of this advert. (I have tried to keep this post neutral as I want all opinions discussed)

Is it funny to make a joke about a dog attacking a postie, is it funny that he throws his mail around, is it funny at all.

I notice they have used the old style coat and removed the logos so not got RM permission probably.

Not too keen on it, definitely not funny making a joke about a dog attack also looks like someone is trying to nick the mail out of his bag, doesn't look like he is on park and loop or has he abandoned his trolley

Don't really care, adverts (like tv) aren't real life and I just take them as such........a bit of entertainment (anyone remember Sorted? now that was bad).

I had reservations when they asked me to do it.
It was low budget stuff. I actually dropped my bag, I wasn't meant to do that but they didn't have the time or money to do a second take.
The dog thing is just a bit of silliness. It is actually trying to hump my leg rather than bite me. Apparently the general public found it funny.

Anyway I made a few extra quid (actually did it during my duty time as well).

In case of emergency - break dance.

It is a high rise - so I'm only carrying 5kg in the bag, as trolleys were deemed a security risk.

Is this payback for when I described you as the worst tipster in the history of RMC?
That was probably about a year ago. Try and let go of the anger. It isn't healthy to hold a grudge for that long.

Had a budding thespian actually done the breakdancing, when they became a household name they would have had to endure the indignity of watching the advert on "Before they were Famous".
I've done them a favour.

Certainly isn't intended to offend! Bit of light-hearted fun is all it's intended to be.

Light hearted fun my arse!

What it is is a very visible message to our customers that it is acceptable behaviour.

If you were to check out the information on how many postmen are injured by dogs and look at the current reforms were fighting to get through parliament you may find it less light hearted!

Perhaps you can do a sequel where a soldier cartwheels through a field full of IED's then ask our boys returning from Afghanistan if they find it fun!
