Do you think it will get a mention on Dave ward TV?
Can we interview him on his own news channel or do we have to write in?
Maybe we will get a special mention.

And here's a word from the Man himself:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEu71d6zhCg
He actually says "I can sense from my members".
And he likes to appear very sincere:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gg8pLmR ... ure=relmfu
And what he really want us all to do is "believe in him"

CWTV,what is the point, have just looked through their videos and the views are seriously embarrassingly crap.
200,000 or whatever it is members and none of them can be bothered with it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

They must be too used to the gravy train, they have got too complacent.
How long have these two been in charge now?

This "Golden Egg" is not one of those choccy ones wrapped in tinfoil is it - I mean over the last few years I'm tired of climbing the never ending "beanstalk" only to find it gets higher and higher and the reward further and further away if it exists at all..............maybe I should have kept the cow.Cut Off King wrote:I did hear that the CWU had endorsed "Bean Stalk" seeds and that when they have grown, you will be able to climb them and gain a golden egg, however, you'd need to give up driving allowance, delivery suppliment & the SWW to gain this benifit.dvbuk55 wrote:I want seeds, I want seeds - only this time can I choose which ones?Cut Off King wrote:WCM has identified that the xmas bonus is an unproductive incentive and that socks would be a more fitting reward for workers efforts at this festive time

Re: LTB 455/12 - Colleagueshare/New Incentive Arrangements
it does make me laugh people who claim they talk on behalf of members across the Uk when in reality they speak for just themselves.
The CWU opposed colleague share fact
The CWU tried to get all the colleague share money based on the revisons but legally could not do so but got the £1000 away from colleague share to payment on lump sums linked to revisons.
Many on here slagged the CWU off at the time saying that they would get colleague share money anyway
In my opinion the Government and Royal Mail conned us in order to get colleague share and the members know this.
There are very few members I speak to and I speak to more than most on here at various members meeting expect any money from colleague share as they know that Royal Mail have conned them.
Now everyone would like the more than an £100 but £100 is more than what most believed was going to be paid this June.
Equally a lot of Branch's and members have been calling for an increase to the Christmas bonus and now from 2013 that will be increased by 100% and that will paid on a permanent basis.
Equalky the talks on the new scheme will take place and it will be based on two things. Additional money for revisons and against Royal Mail's profit results which is what managers bonuses are based on and they always seemed to get paid out.
Equaly the CWU are getting some major accountants to review the Royal Mail's accounts including what they gave access to the European Commission for to ensure under the terms of colleague share is there any money available.
Now I know it's fashionable on this site to slag the Union off and call the two leaders lots of names but do you really think the CWU have not tried to get the money and in fact forced Royal Mail to pay out some new money. Not an easy think to do when Royal Mail are still being criticised for increasing stamp prices , getting a bale out from Europe and the Governement and paying one of highest pay rises this year.
Of course in some of the posters eyes they can choose to ignore the above facts as they don't need to consider these facts as they can sit behind a keyboard and simply have no responsibility to try and force Royal mail to improve terms and conditions in an environment where revenue is falling due to DSA , down trading , the recession and where apart from packets most other streams of mail are falling.
Yes delivery offices are more productive then ever before as there are less walks and staff than there were 10 years ago.
Look there is a simple answer is if you don't want the money on offer donate it to charity. Of course you will have to pay tax and national insurance.

That's a good question and probably worth a thread in itself.
I know who claims to and it isn't anyone on here.
I'll leave you with a thought because i know you like to say that the union played a blinder by getting the last tranche of shares converted into the transformation lump sums.
What would have happened if they hadn't?
If Royal Mail had been left to issue the final allocation of shares in 2010 would they really have been able to then declare those shares(by then over a thousand shares) worthless barely 12 months after issuing them?
I seriously doubt it.
Rather than rescuing us from a worthless scheme it is possible that the CWU actually made it easier to close it down.
Interesting thought isn't it?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Re: LTB 455/12 - Colleagueshare/New Incentive Arrangements
New money? If each member was to be paid 100 which they aren't and there are 200,000 employees it would cost 20,000,000 which would only leave 200,000,000 plus from the money they will NOT be paying to the pension fund this year....................pretty cheap really. As for the incentive schemes? They can shove it where the sun don't shine.
In truth the £48 part timers will get is a mere p*ss take in comparison to the £29,000 somebody got for forgetting to take his holidays! In addition to which what terms are the pension scheme for the leadership of this union? Final salary still?

Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

The reason why people are having a go at our esteemed leaders is that, as you admit, they were sold a crock of s**t. Now this is not the first crock of s**t they've been sold, so what leader buys a crock of s**t, realises they've done so, then goes back to buy another crock of s**t from the same person. We expect them to learn from mistakes, especially big ones like these.
If the CWU were my missus and RM was a dodgy D2D salesman, I'm sure I wouldn't be praising her either.

Well that must have equal place with "the deal of the century" statement.....................more productive? Under BT 2010 they have been absolutely creamed...................makes you wonder if he actually speaks to people who are on delivery and don't think that the sun shines out of the CWUs backside.

Re: LTB 455/12 - Colleagueshare/New Incentive Arrangements
There are some on here who speak from a London centric perspective, but outside London people are treated in a different way.
Maybe if those who are in the inner circle knew what was really going on beyond London they would pin back their ears and listen to a whole country perspective, and not just a London based view of the agreement.
Why do you thing people are so angry on this site ?
Is it because we are ALL malcontents for whom nothing would be good enough ?
Or are we suffering under sanctions imposed by said deal ?
When RM claimed before the last strike that it was London that was the problem, I campagned throughout the office to secure a YES vote for IA because I thought that RM were trying to split the CWU. Buy maybe I was wrong, maybe There IS a difference between how London & how the rest of us are treated.
I realy feel that I was duped into maintaining the LONDON & the rest of the country status quo.
OUTSIDE LONDON PEOPLE ARE BEING SHAFTED ON A DAILY BASIS.
London members are suffering too, but they are only catching up with what the rest of the country has been going through over the last few years
Deal of the century....Well it must be a 100 years since we last gave away so many hard fought for right in exchange for sweet F.A.
If you don't believe me, then why was the "LONDON ISSUES" solved within a few weeks (FIRST) and everything else has taken ( SECOND PLACE ) many months to come to a ( poor ) agreement for the rest of us ?

Re: LTB 455/12 - Colleagueshare/New Incentive Arrangements
Well at the end of the day how willing is cuddly Dave prepared to put his @ss on the line?
Will he take the risks that we do when we strike, the loss of pay and the threat of bullying and intimidation or has he got too used to the good life?
Maybe we need some young blood because IMHO we are going to get shafted big time, Royal mail assets such as land are being eyed up by the vultures who are just waiting for their opportunity to pounce.
This is going to be the big sell off, the land grab, The biggest onslaught in RM's history.
Is cuddly Dave ready for this?
