To help employees understand the pension solution, Royal Mail pension trustees are hosting a pension solution roadshow.
Chief executive of the Royal Mail Pension Plan (RMPP) Gerry Degaute and chair of trustees Jane Newell will be visiting three Royal Mail locations on the following dates:
Friday 6 July – 1.30pm Edinburgh mail centre
Monday 9 July – 1.30pm North West Midlands mail centre
Tuesday 10 July – 2.00pm Croydon mail centre
You can hear about how the RMPP and the Royal Mail Statutory Pension Scheme will operate and how members’ benefits will be better protected.
The events are also open to employees who are not in any pension scheme linked to Royal Mail. There’s also a chance to ask questions.
If you’d like to attend, register by email or call 0113 22 44 813 providing your name and the location you wish to attend. pensionroadshow@logistikgroup.com
Read a special issue of Courier on the pensions solution. https://www.myroyalmail.com/mrm/appnews/courier.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Pension team hits the road

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Pension team hits the road
Royal Mail can probably claim that 95% of employees live within 200 miles of one of these roadshows, not quite as good as near a Post Office or near the Olympic flame but that's the best they can do in these hard times.DGP1 wrote:Can we over here in NI get release to visit one of the locations...............feels great to be thought so little of
