I send therefore I am! I'm a Postcrosser (we send postcards all around the world) and I also write letters to friends around the world, and I try to use the nice stamps. I hope it stops raining so I can post some postcards.

To be honest I'd never heard of "postcrossing" before, so I had look and found this for my fellow sceptics

Postcrossing has even been celebrated with an issue of stamps in the Netherlands (from PostNL, http://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2011/1 ... amp-launch" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ), and by a postmark in Taiwan (http://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2012/0 ... ation-mark" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Some people there are actual postcard collectors, I do not collect them myself (but keep the ones sent to me). Nearly 12 million postcards have been received.

And it didn't stop raining. I popped in to the post office and handed my postcards over the counter.... Hopefully, they'll stay dry (drier) that way
