shares are back
I was told on saturday the union and rm have come to an agreement over the shares and will announce it this month. So that is good for those of us who have fought for this it just annoys me that all those spineless defeatest who post on this site will get a share as well.

Re: shares are back
The colleagueshares are dead.
There may be a small payment(around £100 pro rata
) connected with a possible new,yet to be finalised productivity scheme.
So no...the shares are not back.
How exactly did you fight for the colleagueshare money?

I think we will be lucky to see change from £100. And what does that give you? A weeks shop? Beer for the Euro's/Olympics? Sanity?

I think the source of this story is LTB 437/12 National Talks - Outstanding Phase 2 Issues - The section in this LTB that refers to ColleagueShare reads as follows:-
"ColleagueShare – A proposal has been agreed in principle that includes the opportunity for a final independent audit of the legal and financial aspects of the scheme. Furthermore, we have secured a separate remuneration payment for eligible Royal Mail Group members and a commitment to develop new productivity schemes as part of our immediate Phase 3 talks. The detail of this proposal is now being drawn up as a National Joint Statement and we hope to be in a position to publish an overall agreement in the very near future. The Union will need to pursue this matter separately with POL."
Not sure what a 'separate remuneration payment' means - Let's hear more from the CWU before we assume the worst!

Re: shares are back
its going to be the same royal fail ucw scheme look what you are getting oops no you could of had it only we spent it on our own bonus.at local level the ucw seems good but further up towards the gravy train i dont think they have a scooby doo.i for one have given up with the union.due to them we have been divided and conquered years ago, royal mail will be a part time job and wages will be inline next.we have had many people leave through different reasons and guess what no full time jobs only part timers taking full time jobs and the excess taken up by overtime or harrassment (management cohersion).the union can pay lipservice to its members but until it grows a pair and shows the public whats happening we are dooomed because the average postie just dont care anymore.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
