Does anyone know if there is any intranet training packages available for health & Safety work, such as E learning etc ?

You'll need to contact your Branch secretary to find out when they can get you on the next available Level 1 H&S course. In the mean time you need to use common sense and your Area Safety Rep as much as possible.

I would agree with Himaggen's posting but like most things in Royal Mail if you've got a particular health and safety problem just ask for advice on the forum.
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."

I am just using a big slab of common sense at the moment which seems to be having some effect
