Marlow-based TNT Post has won a contract with Tesco to handle its mail contract.

The company has been selected to handle up to 180 million items per year for the supermarket. This includes all of the company's customer communications from Tesco Clubcard and Tesco Bank.

TNT Post said the contract is one of the most sought after contracts in the industry and was awarded following a competitive process.
TNT Post chief executive Nick Wells added: "Winning Tesco as a client is a great coup for TNT Post and we are proud that our robust operational capability, combined with excellent customer service, and of course value for money, shone through in the tender process.

"We are looking forward to working in partnership with the Tesco team to develop and enhance their mailing capabilities and communication with customers."
TNT Post was established in 2003. The business said it handles more than 3.5 billion items of mail every year.

I would guess that TNT aren’t making a killing on this. Tesco are infamously tough negotiators.
TNT will use the “prestige” of the account to try and win business from other companies.

Now what it needs is for us to up our prices for DSA and then we’ll see how TNT likes being squeezed for a change. :Very Happy
