I know one thing for sure if someone accused me of steeling anything like this person is accusing their postie of; I would sue the arse of them for making false and slanderous actuations. I would really take them to the cleaners and get every penny out of them I could.

People have accused me of all sorts over the past 40 odd years and I have never even considered suing them for slander etc.....and taking them to the cleaners.

No it just p****s you off.

Have been accused once by a customer whose packet had gone missing.
Lucky enough I had an independent witness who gave me a signed statement.
Spoke to DOM gave him copy of my statement and witness statement and then refused to deliver any more mail to that address. Dom said you cannot do that, said to him you try and stop me. They tried to take me of this delivery but to no avail. This carried on for almost 2 years until I decided to do another duty.

Turned out the said missing packet had not been posted on the day it was claimed to have been.

Right, Miss Marple. You may feel you can wonder about accusing anyone of anything just because it suits your Agenda but Royal Mail Investigators and the courts are the ones that prove theft by a Postman.

I'm in Lincolnshire, and don't know of any revisions MC wise. Sounds like this is something the people on here might not be able to help you with. Your best bet would be contacting RM Customer Services directly (lodging a complaint or similar). Oh, and sorry to have a 'rant' myself, but i'm fed up with people contacting the police over these issues before Royal Mail even have a chance to conduct their own investigations.. I'm sure that's the last thing the police need right now.

hi i live in spalding and never had a problem be4 with royal mail but now i had 3 parcel go missing withing 2 weeks :( (i think they have been stole) i have got in touch with police and royal mail gotta wait the full 15days and i will but if they don't come by then the police will be involved and make sure this person job get taken of him so i don't wants reply's u know for sure it been taking as i know they have and the user i got them of. have dealt with these people loads of time so i know they been sent to i give them till next week on Wednesday to come or the police will get involved
