Guidance on 5kg

Post by newtimes »

Got meeting with DOM this coming Tuesday morning,
I am the only person who will weigh bags in office, bag weights are never checked. Finally the manager accepts there is a 5kg rule and I am the only person asking for this. I do not want to dwell on the past, much history. He wants me to come up with solutions, surely he must have a plan which I can then put input into. I feel he wants me to solve the problem which I have created by asking for the correct procedure to be followed. There are other complications, some walks operate two different walk logs. By me pushing this 5kg issue, this will conflict with some unofficial walk log duties which in the past the manger has given preference over my official walk log duty. Basicly its a mess, we just failed an external audit with many people being caught out and we were told external management wanted to disciplined many individuals. Only by the intervention of the manager this was stopped. Bags left at bottom of closes is not an option, 5kg is the only option.
Hope I have not rambled on.
