It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

"Its banned from mail in case it goes by air. A lot of mail carried by aircraft goes in unpressurised holds. Aersol is basically a gas under pressure - the 2 situations are quite explosive when combined."

Have often wonder how that is squared with aerosols in luggage when going on holiday!

The guide on most tickets recommend releasing the pressure on brand new cans, not sure how much that helps. I know they are banned from hand luggage in case of fire, but I guess they don't think a few aerosol cans exploding will do much damage except to the bags they are in.

DGP no your fine, no names no pack drill.
