Hi All
From a region press photographer to a postie in six months.
Having been inducted yesterday just started out of Exeter today.
Did I feel I was thrown in at deep end or what but have successfully completed first round under guidance of a great guy called Keith!
Still, hopefully it'll all make sense as the weeks progress.

It's not much of a job but better than walking the streets.
Just watch out for Andy Bainborough, 53, who will stop working in Ide next month after "operational changes" were decided by the Royal Mail and the Communication Workers Union (CWU). "Andy has been very clear that he does not wish to leave Ide and the fact that he doesn't even belong to the CWU only adds to the sense of frustration". Andy, who lives in Exeter, is not allowed to comment. But he has written a farewell to the Ide Times free-sheet saying: "As a result of local Post Office reorganisation I will be reluctantly moving on to another delivery back in Exeter.

Thanks LoungeLizard - it makes a change from just hanging around on streets waiting for snatch shots (not as risque as it sounds!! )

Who's the CWU rep in Exeter by the way. Have the form just need to know the cost and a few other bits 'n pieces. Only hope the CWU is better with members than the NUJ were !

Having been shafted by media giants Northcliffe for 20 odd years RMG does seem almost human (from what I've seen so far!) I now duck and await verbal onslaught from those who know better
