If it was one of us I could perhaps understand it. But I live on the same duty as my daughter. My mail is often left sticking out the box. Doesn't really bother me as they have to come through my front gate to get it. But with my daughter being a street level the kiddies are just ripping it out. My neighbour died over Christmas, his mail is often left sticking out the letterbox, I shove it through when passing.
If it was a one off, we could all make exceptions. But it's been going on so long with this guy, used to hate doing a duty behind him before my retirement cos I used to see all the mistakes he was making. Other posties in the office were same, hated him doing their duty, now it looks like he's on this duty all the time
