I failed at the interview, as I asked about transfers, due to the depot I was applying for was an awkward and lengthy drive from home.
In the e mail informing me I had failed it said I could re apply after six months.
My question is, does the six months start from when I applied in August or when I received the 'failure' e mail at the end of September?
Many thanks
Simon.

Re: Re applying
At a guess it will be from the date of the correspondence that advised you of the 6 month wait. So that will probably be the failure email.

That is a fair guess but not the answer I was looking for!TrueBlueTerrier wrote:At a guess it will be from the date of the correspondence that advised you of the 6 month wait. So that will probably be the failure email.
Do you have a phone number please of the recruitment agency, I think they are Sheffield based ........... NOT Angard, they are a completely different company.
The funny thing is I passed the same interview over the phone for a casuals job and passed!
THANKS

Re: Re applying
If it was for a non casual position its more than likely it was Royal Mail themselves that were recruiting and they are based in Sheffield - unfortunately I don't have a contact number for the recruiters though they probably based at Pond Street. Directory Enquiries may be able to help.

I think the expression having a laugh springs to mind here!maisymoo04 wrote:its on ye wage slip
I am one of the thousands who have not had proper wages or a payslip since I did my first shift on 5th December! I have also since done a shift sorting on 31st December.
I tried three different numbers and they are all automated, you just cannot get through to speak to a human.
I appreciate it's only a month between my initial application and being sent the 'unsuccessful' e mail but it could mean the difference in applying for another job. Trust me I won't make the same mistake at the next interview !
Cheers
Simon.
