The good old British "f**k it,s**t happens, let's move on..we didn't deserve it anyway" attitude.
It's what put the Great in Great Yarmouth. :cuppa

Anyway, on a lighter note, there will be no strike, even if the CWU went for a vote they know they let us down and a significant number of people (who didn't leave after the farce) will vote no, because let's face it, there's no confidence in the union top brass to fight a good fight..
Thing is it anit over till it's over a promise is a promise we will all hold them to it regardless of the union for the lack of goodwill is as good as a strike anyway for how can they carry their people with them on falsehoods and scams for better or worse they need us more than we need them!.

the union have given up on this

they are already discussing the 'replacement incentive scheme'

would love to say no way would we ever again accept such shite as part of a deal but sadly I know all they have to offer is some small crumb of financial gain and the masses will vote it in - again and we will be back on the same old merry go round

The sad fact being that the union will swallow the same tale again and present it to the membership as a deal of the century...............a bit like the eccentric old Aunt who is loaded and promises the nephew the earth if he would only do bla blah and then when she snuffs it he finds she's left it all to the local cats home.

When some who were paid out on their allocation on retiring around sept 2010, the rest of us waited untill april 2011 when the shares were to be redeemed.....But between sept 2010 and april 2011 the shares suddenly became worthless.......

So paying out on the shares to some 6 months before the redemption date in april would appear to me to break the rules.....The rest of us were then DISCRIMINATED and forced to wait untill the redemption date aprill 2011 instead of having the benefit of early payment offered to some others......Then we were told the shares had suffered a total loss in the 6 months since they paid out to some posties 6 month too early..........

The union must have a legal case regarding wrongfull payment to some. and I heard that the goalposts were changed so a loss situation was the result for everyone else.......So how come a share option info given out to us 5 years ago out lining the way it will opperate over the said 5 years duration.....gets paid out to a few near the end and sod all to the rest of us. ........

So I say to the union top wallies.....Please spend some of our hard earned £8 million or so subs each year and for once, YES ACTUALLY FOR ONCE, fight for the members you taking money from and are supposed to support, and treat us with some respect, when we have shafted .....like so many other times and with endless promises.

Never has it appeared that such a few ( union top brass), have taken so much money from so many (posties). in return for what appears to be so little in acheivement......... are we being shafted by both our Union and RM together....Perhaps a rebate of £100 from the Union would be a good ...... we are sorry we let you down payment.

Interesting approach :hmmmm I'm definitely going to try this line with my mortgage company about my defaulted payments. I'll let you know the response :cuppa
Just an update . fraid to say the building society wont swallow that approach and the bankers who own the debt seem to think I'm taking the piss ,I've told them to get real and this is how the world is now ,but they just don't get it

The other approach B is to tell them you've had your house revalued, it is no longer worth what it was six months ago and they can whistle for their money because you are going to halve the payments :cuppa

Absolutely - I imagine we'll get a long winded explanation as to why there is no money in the kitty and how the company is so hard up it may not be able to pay the managers bonuses...........which oddly enough, there always seems to be enough to go round.
