Hi all
I dont normally rant, however, I stopped using the Royal Mail for normal post parcels as 3 years ago I have a £300.00 PAT Tester go missing in the post, It still has not arrived to date. I started using Track & Trace thinking that was infallable. How wrong I was, 2 track and trace parcels of mine have gone missing in 1 month. Look at the website and it brings up prof of postage at the dispatch office, and that is all it shows. What have your customers got to do to get a parcel safely delivered from A to B.
One suggestion from me is easy, stop all the periferal services that you undertake until you can sort out you core business.!!!!

Wish you luck, I think most on here might even sympathise with you.

Thanks for that guys, the replies speak volumes, regarding special delivery, thre is no (as far as I can see) any postal service that can assure a safe passage for anything, not only does it not do what it says on the tin, the f~~ck==g boxthat the tins are in is missing

What kind of replies were you looking for?junger wrote:Thanks foor that guys, the replies speak volumes
You didn't ask any questions....pose any conundrums.
You just had your rant which you're entitled to do...and left.
Track&Trace and the services that use it are normally very reliable but they are not infallible.
Nothing is unfortunately.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Can't work out what product OP used. Special or Recorded?? Tracked were'nt available 3 years ago. So I'm guessing Recorded was used which don't actually track f all. Someone did'nt do their homework on the products available
Fair enough some stuff goes missing but a lot of stuff is not addressed properly, inadequate packaging, no return address.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
