shared vans dispute

After working in pairs using vans, it doesnt seem to work because my partner and in fact the other blokes that I work with are much quicker than me. So therefore my partner keeps telling me off for being so slow when I havent been tying up for as long as them since my job was only to come in and do my delivery.
And the fact I cannot tie up as my frame because it is all back to front so that in itself takes longer but I do believe that even if it was in order, they would still be quicker.
Also, my partner drives recklessly and keeps slamming on brakes when stopping at roundabouts and pedestrian crossings forcing me forward in my seat and does not wear seat belt. I thought this guy was bad until I had the relief driver yesterday who is just as bad if not worse and is very young and immature by driving intimidatingly and slamming hard on brakes. So because of this I really dont want to work with them plus they are not helpful and have to ask them to do just small things.
Anyone else have this problem?

See your H&S rep first to have a word about safe driving standards , if no joy see your line manager and explain you do not feel safe as a passenger due to the poor driving/unsafe driving standards. As for being slow on tieing up if you are hitting RM standards then your co worker has no grounds to complain and this could be classed as B&H.

If the vans are fitted with telemetry any excessive or harsh braking would flag up.

If your frame is wrong inform your DIM and rep and push to have it sequenced properly and the frame set out accordingly.

Make sure you sit down with a planner to do this it should take about 30 minutes.

You will be surprised the prep time you can gain back with having a properly sequenced and set out frame.

As long as you prepping 12 letters a minute your standards are there so dont flap on that.

As for the reckless driving why not have a quite word with the drivers if that fails your rep who will have a word but its down to you and what road you go down.

At the end of the day it gives us all a bad name if theres just one idiot driving an R/M vehicle carelessly ad reckless.
