To be fair the IP of the post indicate she is using mobile internet - might just be a habit.Stormproof wrote:Please don't type in text talk its annoying and makes you look stupid.
To jina1k - all the previous advice applies in your case as well, although if he really is a drunk then I would not recommend approaching him on your own.

Re: complaining about a postman
To be fair, he could be well be a car user or have his bags dropped off. Then it isn't much of an issue. And there are some flyers that won't even wait to knock and then write a card out. Those 4 minutes are obviously so precious! Sounds like he is just taking them back and leaving them in the callers office as if they're form lefts. Unbelievable cheek if true.Bazman wrote:It's far easier for a postie to deliver a package that he's got rather than just chucking it back in his bag and leaving a note (or in your case, not leaving a note, which is even dumber :x)
It's simple really, we'd rather get packages delivered so we're not saddled by the weight for the rest of the delivery.
You must understand that I am here purely as A BEARER OF MESSAGES.

Re: complaining about a postman
I am sure that your lack of deliveries is little to do with your posties work ethic or lack thereof.
from Passport office website
As to your lack of service and missing mail, a phone call to your local delivery office will start the ball rolling.
from Passport office website
Ring the passport office and ask them for the tracking number of your passport, it may give you a better idea of where along the process of delivery it is.How your passport will be delivered
In most cases, your new passport will be delivered by DX Secure (on behalf of IPS) between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
In areas where there’s a low risk of deliveries being lost, your passport will be delivered by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
If your passport is being delivered by Royal Mail, the postman will need a signature. If you’re not at home, they will leave a card, explaining how to rearrange delivery or collect from your local sorting office. You should do so quickly, as your passport will be returned to the IPS after seven days.

8am – 1:pm on Saturdays
Just to reiterate we are an UNOFFICIAL forum and we as a website have no connection with Royal Mail, with the problems you have and the way you have described them I would follow Postman Plods good advice or call Customer Services.

Re: complaining about a postman
Makes me laugh these know nothing people think we are all bone idle. Of course we all have a nice lay in and then go into work to collect a fully prepped delivery of 1 whole bag and then go out for a jolly little stroll, of course having a natter & cups of tea with our customers............
