Since the Control of Dogs (Scotland) Act 2010 came into force on the 26th February 2011 the latest figures released reveal that out of all the 32 Scottish Unitary Authorities there have been in total 67 Dog Control Notices Served whilst 693 investigations have been carried out. Information is current up to the 4th November 2011.
On looking closer at the breakdown of figures from each local authority it has to be noted that 18 of the 32 local unitary authorities have so far not served any dog control notices.
