Good old Royal Mail communicating news in a timely manner yet again. Not your fault, entirely Royal Mails, but the split was part of the Postal Services Act 2011 bill which was granted Royal Assent back in June.demon wrote:got told today in work time learning that were are geting split up from the post office ready to be privetised and thats from the big boys who are going round all the offices in the north east at the moment telling every one what will happen

Read the new article in news items delay in privatisation article reuters it states there that privatisation will not be considered until royal mail have posted at least one years full financial results under the new offcom conditions. It also states that this is not likely till beyond 2013 and could be right up to the end of the present con dem governments term. This could be good news for jobs for at least a couple of years hopefully.
