Hi,
I posted an item on 31/10 going to Sweden. I have sent houndres of parcels with Airsure and have never had any problems (always in Sweden within 3-4 working days) This time however when tracking on the website it says: YOUR ITEM HAS REACHED THE DESTINATION COUNTRY" But then beneath it says:
Your item, posted on 31/10/11 with reference LYXXXXXXXGB has arrived in HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC and is being processed for delivery.
How can that be?, both reached the destination country and be at the WW DC? How long should I wait until I have to consider the item has being lost?
Regards,
Oscar

Re: Airsure problem
Oscar,
Most likely the item has been returned to the UK as undeliverable and is in the process of being returned to the return address on your item.
There are a number of reasons for an item to be returned, when the item gets back to you the Swedish post office (http://www.posten.se/m/startpage" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) should have applied a sticker detailing why it could not be delivered.
This is best guess but is the most likely reason.

Re: Airsure problem
Hi and thanks for the reply! :-)
The strange thing is the status went from "being processed for shipping abroad" to "has arrived in HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC" With this parcel unfortunately there is no return address (Murphy's law!) on this parcel. Can I somehow contact Royal Mail if it would be the case it has been returned?
Regards!

Re: Airsure problem
If there's no return address then it gets sent to the RLC in Belfast who will open it and try to find an address to return it to, if you haven't put anything in that will identify you then you could try to contact them (via customer services).

Re: Airsure problem
Have you tried the track and trace on the destination country's own website - they may throw some more light on it. (with RM you can track inward internationals as long as they are scanned)

Re: Airsure problem
Thank you all for the answers. Yes I have spoken to the recipient he has not yet recived it and it has not been registered at Posten.se
Do you know which number to use in order to talk to customer support about this - this one 08457 740 740 for General Personal enquiries? Or do you by any chance know a number that goes straight to the people dealing with Airsure? :-)
Big thanks again!
Oscar
