Casino has said it has signed a deal with Poste Immo, a subsidiary of La Poste Group, which will see the retailer open its convenience stores next to post offices across France. The five-year partnership will see the sides open the stores in vacant real-estate sites in towns with less than 12,000 inhabitants.

Casino said it will initially open around 50 such outlets across the country, adding that the move will help it move into smaller towns.
