Hi,
I have sent a two letters (seperated by two weeks) from Portugal to the UK via the "Prime" mail service, basically a tracked delivery service.
The first letter arrived at the destination in 4 days with tracking door to door, for some reason the second letter (to the same address) seems to have stopped at HWDC and has been there since the 16th Oct 15:13.
Any Ideas ???

Is mail particually heavy through HWDC at the moment?

Surface mail is probably busy atm, the deadline for posting surface to some countries for delivery before xmas has already passed. In any case once an item has left the UK, RM has no control over it. @MrEdd did the track and trace for the 2nd item state if it had been dispatched onward to the destination country?jsmith300 wrote:Is mail particually heavy through HWDC at the moment?

Hi,
I have feedback on a daily basis and as yet nothing has arrived.
Basically the tracking still says HWDC, its just the final hop to Leatherhead that seems to have gotten "stuck".

what am trying to say is are you sure it has not been delivered because the person hasnt recieved it or just think its not delivered as it shows on the system that its at heathrow?

The letter arrived on the 19th (confirmed at recipient) and the tracking info was updated on the 20th.
