angard employment(royal mail) agency

Post by keithposty »

it seems this angard is the internal recruitment for royal mail, manpower used to do all the vetting etc but now this lot

in all sense and purpose angard is royal mail

on the grape vine ive been told that they are paying the casuals £5.95 an hour

now how does the agency workes directive come into play on this, it states that all agency workers have to be paid the same as regular contracted staff.

the only downside is that for this to happen is that they must be employed for more than 12 weeks to qualify.

now then

can you argue thats 12 weeks on angards books, or should in say royal mail

or

12 weeks continious employment

this is just so royal mail can pay minimum wage :no no :no no :Sick

Minimum wage is now £6.08. So if that is what they are still offering then they are breaking the law. Nothing new for RM then!

£3.68 - £6.08 per hour for working in a MDEC
£4.00 - £8.00 per hour in a MC

There is the age thing, under 21,under 18,under 17 or something like that.

Less shift allowance by the sound of it.
