Items not arriving / arriving under different tracking ID's

I recently ordered several items from a Japanese seller that shipped 3 days apart.

I have taken delivery of one item so far, however it was the second item i ordered. According to all the tracking sites I have used. This item is still in HWDC Langley and has been since the 7th Oct.

Whereas the first item I ordered has not yet arrived however all the tracking sites I have used claim it as being delivered.

Now obviously something has been mixed up along the way and my tracking numbers have gone a bit wonky, but I'm worried that this issue has somehow caused my first package to be lost somewhere as the status on the Royal Mail site is currently:

'Try Later
The system is currently unable to confirm the status of your item.'

Has this made any sense to anyone and has anyone had any similar problems?

Is it possible that the company you ordered from have mixed up the tracking numbers before supplying them to you. I've seen that in the past. Some foreign companies say they have shipped things, but all it means is they have passed it to their postal dept who have waited til the end of the week before sending everything at the same time. Then they accidentally mix the shipping numbers up.

Everything that has happened (Payment/Being Sent Out/Arriving in England) happened three days apart from each other, so I can't see the tracking numbers being mixed up on that end.

The really confusing thing is that the Item I have (I'm looking at the box right now) definitely has the correct tracking number I was given for this item, however if I use this tracking number on any of the tracking sites it's apparently still in HWDC Langley.

Do you have twitter if so follow http://twitter.com/#!/RoyalMail" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and send them a DM - they have I think a live audit system that shows more details than the public has access to they may be able to help.

Act quickly though they finish at 5pm - Although they do answer all the overnight tweets the next day.

Yes, but the item I have not received yet claims to have left HWDC Langley and made it's Final Delivery on the 6th, but obviously it hasn't arrived whereas a completely different item has and that tracking states it's still in Langley.

Did u sign for the item on a pda or with pen and paper?

Yes, the item I have received has been signed for digitally, but this signature appears on the first item I haven't received if I check Royal Mail's tracking
