Lost Oyster Card form - not a clue what to do now!
I posted my Oyster Card form off on the 14th September, and it has my card details on it so that I could pay for the application through transfer. TFL don't seem to have recieved it according to their SMS Update service (hasn't worked for a few days so can't check through that, but the money hasn't gone out of my account which says it all). It seems that Royal Mail have lost it. What the hell do I do now? My mail keeps being mistreated so i'm getting a bit fed up. Normally I would just get another form and send it off, but I won't have a debit card to do so, or a working Oyster Card to get to the Post Office to get one..or money to pay for the bus! After the 30th I won't even be able to get to school. It's a shame there's a few sh*t postal workers making the good'uns look bad.

Ok confused here, how old are you?
1:My daughter lost her card the other week,i phoned TFL up and paid the £10 lost fee and got it delivered in less than a week.
2: If it's a brand new card why didn't you do it at the PO,no need to send it off.
For those confused outside the smoke...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

awful quick to blame royal mail for this, how do you know tfl havent lost it? how do you know its even lost? by your own admission you havnt even contacted tfl, you are just waiting for them to send you a txt saying they have got it, that not really grounds to blame royal mail when you dont actually know its even lost
if your sending important documents on the future you should send it special delivery then it will be tracked at various points along the way from the post office to the delivery point and you should be able to view online the signature and time of delivery after it has been delivered

Saw a door stepped parcel from HDNL last month, Amazon packet propped right against the door with busy pedestrian traffic just a few feet away. Would have taken seconds to nab it. Yes I could have possibly moved it somewhere else but getting involved with other couriers shoddy dealings is not wise.
My fault come 'Monday Morning' though....
