I win!
Stuart Simms Pay Rate.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

As far as I know SSPR = Statutory Sick Pay at Pension rate.stuartsimms wrote:Hi i am new here can anyone tell me what SSPR means on my payslip, thanks
This is paid when you have exhausted your entitlements to sick pay at full and half pay.
Have you been off sick for a long time?

Re: SSPR
Single Standard Pay Rate.
It's nothing to do with sick pay...it just shows up on your pay slip if you're a part-timer doing overtime under 40/39hrs.6. Transformation Lump Sums are paid pro-rata to contractual hours, plus additional hours paid at SSPR (Single Standard Pay Rate), paid in the 12 months prior to the date when Transformation targets are authorised as achieved by the RFD.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: SSPR
The 1st bit is because you worked over your 'contracted' hrs i would guess. You get paid the normal rate up to 39/40 hrs.mcpriv wrote:I'm an A.G but worked 42.50 hours last week and I've got o/t @ sspr 23.00 hrs and o/t first 10hrs 3.51hrs ... I'm thinking this doesnt appear right ... anyone willing to shed light
on whether I'm barking up the wrong tree?
Cheers.
The second bit is overtime, looking at it i would guess your office in on a 39hr week. You get paid the overtime rate.

Re: SSPR
That sheds a lot of light, thankyou .... really appreciated. I'm a 16hr wk A.G but always thought the first 10 hours was O/T on top of the 16 hours then SSPR thereafter.POSTMAN wrote:The 1st bit is because you worked over your 'contracted' hrs i would guess. You get paid the normal rate up to 39/40 hrs.mcpriv wrote:I'm an A.G but worked 42.50 hours last week and I've got o/t @ sspr 23.00 hrs and o/t first 10hrs 3.51hrs ... Re: SSPR
The reason it's SSPR first then 1st 10 is to stop you working 39 hours and walking out with more than someone who is contracted at 39hrs.mcpriv wrote:
