York Safe System Of Work - York Capacity Review
Further to LTB 743/11 circulated to Branches, Area Reps & Area Safety Representatives on the 25th August 2011, contained within the Joint Statement was the requirement for a Formal National Joint Review Meetings to take place. The first takes place on Monday 10th October 2011, I would therefore appreciate Area Safety Representatives feeding back to the Health, Safety & Environment Department with any input, comments, reports or views of the revised York Container Safe System Of Work in which we made a number of changes and improvements covering a number of areas including and beyond the specific remit of this particular project.
All returns by no later than Wednesday 5th October 2011 - thanks.

Further to LTB 772/11 circulated to Branches/Representatives on the 9th September 2011.
Unfortunately, the Formal Joint Review Meeting scheduled for Monday, 10th October 2011 had to be cancelled at short notice as a result of unforeseen circumstances.
The meeting has now been re-arranged for 2pm on Monday 7th November at CWU HQ.
We apologise for any inconvenience to those anticipating the outcome of the Review Meeting and encourage Branches in the meantime to continue forwarding to the department reports of any local difficulties they may have or continue to be experienced.
