We are all in the same boat - as RM treat us like Mushrooms....

Keep us in the Dark and feed us BullShit....... :arrrghhh
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

I think they will announce all the NE div Mail Centre closures together and I doub they will do it now just before Xmas.

You never know with this lot it would be like them to us all Xmas eve .............
I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.

we have been told recently that as the office is closed a joint seniority list between middlesborough and darlington will be produced and all the jobs that are available will be allocated .The bad thing is that this list will be calculated on earnings so therefore somebody on the least earnings on earlies might then be left with the option of only having to go onto deliveries even though he or she may have 30 years plus service and someone with 5 years on nights would then get a plum job in the new processing unit is this correct it certainly seems unfair.

it is called MTSF and it is very unfair to any one with seniority but it is all about royal mail saving money.

MTSF maybe unfair, but i presume ,if you are in the union, then they must be liable for this for signing up to it.

As you maybe aware, many things are implemented by the management, and it always states at the bottom of any directive,'AS AGREED BY THE CWU'

Yeah thats what we were told in Darlo. We will get to know what jobs will be available in Jan 12 and then in April the jobs will be a allacated after the 121's have taken place.

Darlington might have a small distribution hub there to get the mail to the local offices as NE won't be able to do it in the time required, but this is just romour control.

DL is going through a resign and it affects about 20 dist drivers and collections. The resign is so when we do, or if, get jobs our pay protection will only be paid from the time we held the new duty. We will prob have another resign next year too. The union/click is DL is crap. I thought the so called union in DL might have seen this and tried to work something else out. I would rather keep my 36 months pay protection than get £400, but we might not get that now :arrrghhh
