It took me about 3 weeks to wait for the security checks to go through, then got a phone call from them out of the blue when I'd just about given up waiting. I've no idea why it took so long; I had a full CRB check for helping out in the local school earlier this year and it took 3 days. Maybe that's just Royal Mail for you? Ho hum...

i started 6 weeks ago mate and theres no easy way to find out. no phone number no email address. you just have to sit tight and wait it took another 2 weeks for checks to be done really depends on how soon the dom wants you to start who interviewed you.

good luck with the job. im loving it at the moment hope ya got a spare pair of legs and feet for the first few weeks.

it's not the holidays or suchlike that's slowing things up ..... it's just how Royal Mail works - i waited 8 weeks to start and had almost started another job when I recieved the call ..... there's no point ringing them - you simply have to bide your time .... :whistle
