No More RM Casuals?

Just been told its all going to agency from next month. Anyone got any further details (Pay/Holiday etc). Worried that as I can normally be contacted to do a night shift with little notice to cover any last minute shortfall in numbers, from now on the agency will be involved and I guess last minute is not on the radar!!

It's just so someone can make money, RM pay £20/hour - agency pay £5.odds/hour Agency keeps the extra (don't know the actual numbers) and isin't the agency now an 'in-house' agency owned by RM.

£20 per hour!!! Blimey even as a RM Casual I get £5.95 + £1.77 night shift allowance. My worry is that it will go down to just min wage and no accrued holiday pay like it or lump it. Whatever happened to "a fair days work for a fair days pay"

TBH I don't know the actual figures but that's just what I picked up from others on here (it could be more).

You're Forgetting Angard Staffing Solutions! It's part of RM so they won't have to pay "themselves" the going rate. Unless there's some sort of Tax scam going on..

am a bit worried also, hoping will still get shifts in the same depot i've been working at which isn't where i was employed for but is closer to home. am on the schedule after the "termination date" stated in the royal mail letter received today, not yet received letter from agency yet confirming new contract.

Thing that bothers me is that with Christmas coming up there has been no guarantee that as we are working for Angard (RM in disguise) we will get any Christmas work

and we might be better off applying through the normal route. I give up I really do
