Hi, I have been waiting on a delivery from an Amazon France Marketplace seller for nearly three weeks now. The item was despatched on the 22nd June 2011 and I've had no sign of a delivery upto now and nothing to suggest that the parcel is at my local sorting office, also, the parcel should fit through a letterbox so I highly doubt it would be something that a van needs to deliver or I need to sign for (as it was sent using the regular delivery method on the Amazon France Marketplace website). I was just wondering if there are any delays with deliveries in the UK atm? As I have had other stuff through from the UK within a few days yet other items within the UK have also taken a while to arrive, it seems a bit inconsistent at the moment. I understand that with the item coming from France it could take a bit longer but this seems a bit ridiculous at nearly three weeks with no sign of it.
I have spoken to the seller as according to the Amazon delivery estimate my item is overdue and the seller says they sent the item on that date and so they are suspecting it has been lost in the post somewhere.
Should I expect this item to turn up or do you think it is now lost?

Re: Delivery Delays?
It's always a good idea to give the local delivery office a call, it could be that the delivery card has been folded in with some Door2doors and has been put in the rightful place of the recycle bin.
Should the item not arrive, remember it's the seller's responsibility to prove delivery, not just proof of posting :)

Re: Delivery Delays?
Hi, well, still no sign of the item today and I have spoken to my local sorting office earlier and they said there are no items waiting for me there, she also said there is no backlog at that sorting office either. Could the item be held up somewhere else in the delivery system or something? As I have had stuff through from France before and it never took this long to receive the item, it will be three weeks tomorrow, I think thats a pretty long waiting time for something from France to be honest. As I said in my original post, I have spoken to the seller who assumes it has now been lost in the post and so I'm in the process of trying to sort out a refund atm. But what are my chances of actually receiving this item now?

Re: Delivery Delays?
Have you tried contacting Parcelforce? My mum sends me stuff from France and sometimes its delivered by Parcelforce rather than RM.

Re: Delivery Delays?
Guess you've got to contact Amazon in France now and inform them that you've not received your package. As said previously, it's up to them to prove delivery, not just prove that it's been posted.
