Hey am a resident in oman
I had my friend send an item here through royal mail( Airsure ).Its been over a month.And until 2 days ago it kept saying 'sent to overseas department for delivery in oman) but y'day onwards its changed to delivered to Harrogate PDO(thats where it was sent from).
Just wanted to know what is happening and if any 1 could help me with the tereminology.

From Royal Mail's website it appears that there is no Airsure service available to Oman so it's probably been returned to the sender as "Service not available". As to why it would have taken so long, I don't know. Another possibility is that it made it as far as Oman's postal service but there was some problem and they've ended up returning it to the UK.

Yup Your guess was correct..it made its way till here and was sent back due to lack of address..And now i have to figure out how to get it back here since the friend who sent it to me is currently in the US.

Hey I'd really like some help in this matter
Now the package has been delivered back to the sending address.
Is there any option in royal mail that i can have it reposted here and make it VPP by any sorts without having some1 to collect it and then repost it.
Or is there any other way that i can have it sent back to the address mentioned and pay on receiving the parcel.
