Post by variablez14 »

Hi guys!

I am missing two packages after 10 days, I normally recieve them within 2-3 days (both were first class) however these have not arrived

What can I do?

First off - contact the sender and ask who they sent them with and when they sent hem

First step I would say is contact the Delivery Office and see if there's anything there for you. If that fails I would contact the senders, see when and who they were sent with, inform them that you haven't received them. If this is items that you have bought, then it's up to the sender to prove that the items have been delivered, not just sent. Under the DSR you would be entitled to a replacement item or a full refund.

Thanks for replying!

I can confirm that both sellers have said they have sent the item via Royal Mail Fist Class.
I have also contacted Royal Mail.

More info:

3 weeks ago, my post office was run by one man, and all of the merchandise' prices had dropped eg £1 envelope now was 0.50p
the next week, the post office hired staff and got fixed up back to regular operation,
thats when my packages started going missing...

Sound fishy?

Thanks.

No the post office has nothing to do with the delivery of your parcels. The post persons (haha PC!!!) deliver the packages from the Delivery Office, not from the Post Office. Your local PO would have no interaction with your parcels unless it's a combined office, which I can't see if it was one man running it :)
