I read the "About Us" editorial from the site you alluded to and was amazed at the number of and calibre of people involved in that site - I couldn't enter the site because I haven't joined it. They seem to be a mish mash of self applauding nobodies - the most truthful point seemed to be to state they are NOT neutral as for the claim to be advisers to all and sundry it was pitiful.

I can't think of a single time when I have thought that any post either intended or unintentional that I would consider bigoted against anyone for race, colour, creed or sexual orientation. I am sure that like me there are many that have been on forums since the inception of the modern Internet and I consider this to be a well run and moderated site and you are to be congratulated on your achievement.

Its made me aware of whats going on in other DOs and how they work, so two fingers to the rest.

I think the best thing about the site is that everyone gets to share information and experience.

Most branches including my own have excellent comms etc but some are a joke and as a result members are kept in the dark. This site has put an end to that!

I reported that Dark Side Article from that site , it was just that bit out of the way of the postie topics/threads which was a bit dubious . I was immediately PM-d @ a late hour , Postman said he couldn't find anything homophobic, the only thing that could remotely be construed as was a caption thread with Reg Holdsworth and Roland Rat :lfo :cfo ; I don't think any queens would have been offended eithier .It's quite common in politics , prior to the Dark Side Article , people had suggested RMG was funding H*******l ,there's some very thin skins and fragile egos . The best example of a smear tactic was somebody from The Federation of Conservative Students which was disbanded by then Tory Chairman Norman Tebbit for being too right wing . There was a Londoner's Diary smearing Westminster Labour Councillors, who'd blown the whistle on Dame Shirley Porter's homes for votes fiddle in The London Standard . Sorry Fozzie ,but this all smacks of RMG Senior Mgt and it's not the first time it's happened either !. As for the biting the hands of the customers that feed them , I've seen threads with E-bayers and Mods and posties have impressed with thier helpfulness and honesty. Some E-bayers didn't quite know how to take the banter but they were reassured . The most offensive bit was the skinheads reunion bit . The last little dig was a RM Senior Mgr saying your'e in danger of having things deleted if don't toe the party line and this is on a different level to PMC & H******L. www.private-eye.co.uk RMG hasn't been mentioned in this periodicial for a long time , maybe this should be remedied ?? -give RMG / These Sites a problem ? email strobes@private-eye.co.uk Private Eye is quite happy to take the lid off dodgy councils , Fleet St , NHS etc, etc . Let's see what supposed Anal Retentives can do?? PS Though I've not even been on PMC for a while and not posted - I'm banned for s***-stirring-no reason specified .

On the users(troublemakers) now leaving the HELLMAIL forum as it is closing down.
