SACKED

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am a former employee of Royal Mail. I worked for them for five
years more than twenty years ago but my employment was terminated. However, I am thinking of re-applying. Can I do this?

Many a person have worked for the same company more than once but when you say "SACKED" then I would presume why you was sacked is if you are offered a position in Royal Mail again ............. cap in hand and humble pie come to mind but the best of luck and sorry I could not be of any more help to you.

You could ask at the interview stage - or if you apply on online they may email you back a sorry letter.

BTW the job has changed a whole lot from 20 years ago.

1 Delivery instead of 2
5 days instead of 6
25 hour starting contracting instead of 41.5
3.5 delivery minimum instead of 2.5 maximum.
Absorbrtion , lapsing, 30 minutes flexibility and working all hours instead of Job and knock.
9am starts instead of 5am
1pm finishes on saturday on a good day instead of 8:30 on a bad day.


Still it is a good job there are worse out there.

Thanks to all who have replied. Yes, I remember those 5am starts vividly...
Does anyone have an email address to email Royal Mail on? I can't find one anywhere!
