LEIGHTON BUZZARD DELIVERY OFFICE missing recorded item

Post by digiflip »

Why haven't they delivered my item. I sent to there delivery office sent on the 20/06/2010 from my delivery office Nottingham City Delivery Office?

omg im mad if they lost it, it cant even be replaced if they could give me all the money needed to replace. They dont make the item anymore.

I dont understand sent 2 packages that same day smallest one was at the recipients address there next day.

Yet the biggest one goes missing.

There are many reasons why this packet has gone missing and not all of them are Royal Mail's fault.

Unfortunately recorded items are only tracked when delivery has failed or been completed. It would be impossible to tell where about it is right now. But as a fellow postie I guess it's a rhetorical question.

Why didn't you send it SD if it was important and/or valuable?

After this incident and I have sent special delivery before and got no tracking on item before. So its not any better and royal mails refused to pay out even know no signature was obtained and i had no proof that was ever delivered. In future I will use a courier service and not parcel force why should I pay for there bonus's.

Bet Royal Mail DIDN'T really refuse to pay out the standard compensation with no signature. You just made that up for added effect, or you just spoke to a clueless customer service agent.

Special Delivery pays out the big compensation if an item is lost, recorded is something else entirely. It's just a way to prove delivery, nothing else. So no signature = no proof = Royal Mail do not have a leg to stand on.....

Wait the prerequisite 14 days and claim.

What's parcel force got to do with it as well? :hmmmm

Would be a bit difficult for him too "sling his hook" apparently he either works for Royal Mail - or at least did in 2007

If not we will have to lobby MP's to get mr gordon brown to sort the mess out.
