Driving - probably not a lot to be honest unless your office has recently changed how they do deliveries - even then they will probably use established drivers.
Overtime - Most overtime is usually doing extra deliveries when people are sick, on leave, or cant to overtime themselves - you might also get overtime on your own round on very busy days. There are other opportunities to do overtime but it all depends on what roles your office does.
After 3 months - again depends on local circumstances but the chances are yes your contract could be rolled on and on. However, it may not be changed from a Fixed Term Contract to an open ended one so don't plan your finances on having a job for life until you actually sign a contract that sats so.
Saturday finishes - again depends on local circumstances - some finish around 11-12 on a Saturday but many finish after 1pm and some even at 3pm.

Re: New Postie - Got A Few Questions
Hi everyone,
I am also a new postie who is very saddle sore and aching all over but loving it. I have been at my delivery office for three days and on the third day ( yesterday ) was on my own. Felt like i had been thrown in at the deep end but i think ill learn the job quickly. Im on my own all next week too. I have a couple of queries though. Casuals do not get uniform, not even waterproofs ( I got soaked ), and i havent met a Union rep from my office.
